A guitar ballerina, baby shakers and accordion dog come together to celebrate the launch of Procreate Dreams

Procreate approached us to create an animation using their upcoming new app “Dreams”. We were super thrilled to have had early access to this powerful intuitive tool. The “Marching Band” is our first creation with Dreams, followed by our second commission, “Park Symphony”

Our animation was displayed in the In Motion Playgrounds festival in London, 2023, where Procreate Dreams was revealed to the world for the first time.

Since the brief was open, we took this opportunity to dig in our personal sketchbooks and explore fun ideas that have not seen the light!  And as we normally do when trying any animation software for the first time, we thought of no better way to highlight the app’s  features than with fun walk cycles!

We decided to create a musical parade celebrating the release of the new app! Each character is made out of a musical instrument, having a unique walk entirely made in Dreams.

We teamed up with the brilliant sound designer, Patrick Henchman, who came up with this clever looping piece of music, which was stuck in our heads for days!
